Lightning take early Holiday gifts from Leafs in 5-3 game

At lovely KHS Arena in Anaheim, home to Edward and Blake's former team the Beach City Lightning, the Maple Leafs were in far too giving a mood, and Beach City thankfully accepted. In a game that we should have taken handily, they oustscored us 3-1 in the final two periods, even though we outshot them 21-12 during that stretch. For the game, Leafs outshot them 28-20.

The PML team took two penalties in each period, too many against a team we had more size and skill than. The bad giveaway early in the 2nd and the PP goal early in the third sealed our fate. A tough loss in so many ways, as both teams were short a couple key players, but we suffered too many breakdowns in front of our net to pull out a win.

Robert followed in a shot by Ryan, Rey knocked in a rebound off Amanda's shot, and Blake swooped in after poking the puck free at the blue line and making a nice forehand to backhand move for the score on the breakaway.

You will notice a couple text additions to the video hi-lights, and where necessary, major sound modifications were made to omit ugly (though truthful) comments. Edward, Blake, and his father badly wanted this one, and it was a bitter disappointment indeed.
