Bright spots, Austin in net, and the checking of Robert, and all around fine play of his linemates Jolie and Edward, who got off the majority of the teams' shots. After a slow start and a timeout with about three left in the 1st, already down 4-0, things settled down, and we played them even for about a period, as they got a goal late in the 2nd, and two more in the third. Amanda was hustling as always, and was greeted rather unkindly a couple times! How's about you soft-spoken bigger guys chat with the young man next time, and pay him a bit more attention and let him know we don't approve?? Could ya--huh? Nothing dirty, just return his unwanted advances--capiche??
The beard continues to grow and itch, at equal rates pretty much, but I am certain that after our bye this week, we will start a win streak of our own! No Rip Van Winkle length beard for this old fella! No comments on the increased amounts of grey--that is mostly the lighting!
